The Boy in the Striped Pajamas: Pictures

Reflection: I chose to use this photo as a visual representation of the text because this is exactly the visual that had come to mind while reading the story. The author, John Boyne, did a suburb job with his use of detail, helping me illustrate my own visual version of my perspective on the story "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". An example of the author's use of detail, the first boy on the left is a great display of the image illustrated in my head of Shmuel, the Jewish child that Bruno meets.

What type of information does a visual provide that the written text does not?
A visual provides an open view that consists more of opinion then straight fact. I believe this because when viewing visual text it allows you to have your own opinion and also see the author's point-of-view on this topic. A written text is the opposite, sure it consists of opinion and fact, but the written text's opinion isn't always backed up.
